This vehicle was a Rally Edition of the 05 Suzuki Swift, with an aftermarket turbo and intercooler.

The factory ECU was retained and the installation done as a piggyback to avoid problems with CAN and the auto transmission.

The wiring and setup were performed by Adaptronic, then the car was tuned by Ric Shaw at Ric Shaw Rotary in Five Dock.

Notes: This engine was built as and endurance race engine producing a flat torque line which makes it very easy to drive and low maintenance as well keeping the max RPM under 8000. As the engine has no idle valve and the inertia of the engine is very low the ignition map at idle was modified to keep the RPM down

Formula SAE, GSXR-600

This was the 2005 entry to the Formula SAE competition from Sydney University. It used the Suzuki GSXR-600 motorcycle engine, and ran the standard triggering system. TPS, MAT, and MAP sensors were added. The engine breathes through single throttle and a 20mm restrictor (in accordance with the rules of the competition). We're told the car weighs about 216 kg.

The car was tuned by Andy Wyatt of Adaptronic.
